convening of DPC for regular & ad-hoc promotion in the grade of Programme
Executive from its feeder cadres.

Sir,
As you are
aware, after long 30 yrs. the programme professionals of DD got a ray of hope
after issuing an order of in-situ promotion towards the eligible TREXs and
Production Assistants / Floor Managers / Property Assistants of Doordarshan.
This is very
much unfortunate that AIR Directorate has issued an order for convening of DPC for regular & ad-hoc promotion in the
grade of Programme Executive from its feeder cadres
wherein the list of TREXs has been attached ignoring all the Production
Assistants / Floor Managers / Property Assistants of Doordarshan. There is no
mention of PEX (in-situ) against TREXs though they have been promoted as PEX
(in-situ) like the Production Assistants / Floor Managers / Property Assistants
of Doordarshan.
The above
order under reference is signed by Dr. Kamalesh Kumar, DDA of AIR Dte. who has
also issued the order of in-situ promotion towards the eligible TREXs and Production
Assistants / Floor Managers / Property Assistants. Issuance of this in-situ
order of promotion clearly specifies AIR Dte as the cadre controlling authority
of the Production Assistants / Floor Managers / Property Assistants of
Doordarshan though in the present case this issue has not been taken care of.
It is requested to your good self to incorporate the list of
Production Assistants / Floor Managers / Property Assistants of Doordarshan for
convening of DPC for regular & ad-hoc promotion in the
grade of Programme Executive from its feeder cadres.
